About UTSAV
UTSAV is a private non profit organization of people of Indian origin living in Northern Virginia region.
The origin of this organization can be traced back to a small community of people of Indian origin who settled in Northern Virginia. These people came from various parts of India and their sense of Indian culture and talents found expression in cultural programs organized every year since 1990. The programs were presented every year during the season of one of the largest festivals celebrated in India - Deepavali or Festival of lights. The number of participants as well as the audience has steadily grown since then, and has thus led to the creation of UTSAV.
The primary activities of UTSAV will be centered upon organizing a cultural program during the Deepavali season. At various other times during the year community activities such as picnics and other cultural and social events will also be considered.
